FileQuick is a local-area network (LAN) file transfer application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data we use and how we handle it.

2. Data We Use
• Device identifier (UID): We generate a device ID on your device (derived from your device hardware and app bundle) to authenticate with our backend for optional services (e.g. subscription status). This ID is stored locally and may be sent to our servers only when you use features that require it.
• File transfer: All file transfers occur directly between devices on your local network. We do not upload, store, or access the contents of your files on any central server.
• In-app purchase: If you subscribe or make in-app purchases, payment and subscription data are processed by the platform (Apple/Google) and optionally by our provider (e.g. RevenueCat) to manage subscriptions. We do not store your payment details.

3. Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your name, email, or the content of files you transfer. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Local Storage
The app stores data only on your device (e.g. work directory files, preferences, cache). You can clear app data via your device settings.

5. Third-Party Services
• RevenueCat: Used for subscription management on supported platforms. See their privacy policy for their practices.
• Google/Apple: In-app purchase and (on Android) optional Google Play services. Subject to their respective privacy policies.
• Ads (if shown): Third-party ad networks may collect data per their policies. You can limit tracking in your device or app settings where available.
